In honor of my 100th post, I'm doing a giveaway. I think (hope) I have enough readers to do this. :-)
Oh, did I not mention it's in German? Think of it as exotic. You can figure it out. You don't need no stinking directions! If you're desperate, you can always use an online translator, but good luck making much sense out of the translation. :-)Up for grabs is the Spring/Summer 2009 Knipmode Special. I'm not sure what makes it special since I've never bought a Knipmode before, but there you have it.
I'm not giving this away because I don't want it, either. I picked it up yesterday, especially for YOU! Here's a look at some of the inside:
There are no articles like BWOF, just patterns. Maybe that's what it's the special. There are 9 distinct patterns (some with variations), but they show everything in a few different materials, which I like, and they don't pair anything with RTW.

I think it's funny one section is called "Sportlich Amerikanisch" - American Sporty! Lots of stripes. :-)
So... if you want this, leave a comment, and I'll draw a name on Friday - August 31st. ...and if you've never left a comment, consider this your opportunity to start!

Ooh, me please. I've got one Knipmode special that came with the May issue, but it sounds like that one was sold separately? I haven't seen mention of it on the Knip site, so maybe it was special to Germany.
I have never left a comment, snd never read a knipmode (but would love to!). I do however have highschool german, so will be able to translate the instructions as long as they are full of questions like " where is the train station" and "could I book a single room for thursday night".
I can "mooch" off my colleague who teaches German, I suppose. :-) I would like for my name to be entered, too.

Please enter my name too!! My sister's friend is from Germany so I could get help from her.
Oooh, I would love to win the Knipmode magazine. I read reviews at PR and I'm always drawn to the Knipmode styles. Nice giveaway, Jenny!
