Nothing to see here

Really... there's nothing to see here. I took photos for a Jeudi de Jardinage post, which iPhoto ate AGAIN. Might be time to start thinking about a new computer. Right? Any supporters out there? I guess I could get a serger much cheaper, though.
Why do I never get a serger?? Another curiosity for another post.

Anyway, no photos. :-( I've been working on lots of blah. Lots of simple tunics for my church's Passion Play. A fishing game for the kids, which started out fun but now I'm ready to be finished with (and it's almost finished). I started curtains for the kitchen, and I'm fixing a quilt for a friend. Blah. I'm also in the middle of knitting sweater vests for my little men for Easter and I also want to sew them pants. I just want to be finished and make a cute silk flowered blouse for ME ME ME!!! Anyone else this selfish?

I am still trying to decide on fabric for an Easter dress!! Oh well, I will make a decision eventually.
I like the make-over design of your blog. The picture is inviting-just sit a spell and relax.
Hope you get time to sew for you.

The next project is often the incentive to get the current one finished. :) Happens to me all the time.

I just bought a new serger - the Bernina 1300MDC. I had been thinking about a new one for a couple years so when I brought my old one in for service and found my sewing store was selling the 1300MDC at a greater than 30% discount for 2 days only, I whipped out my Discover card in a heartbeat!

For as much sewing as you do, I'm sure you would LOVE a serger. You might want to check Craigslist or a local sewing store for a used one!

Jenny I love your blog template .It is so beautiful. Can I ask where you get it?

Oh and about a serger! You don't know how much you wanted one until you get it. I can't imagine my sewing life without mine although I've only had it for eight years and I sewed at least 40 years without one,Lol.
