Here is the result of McCalls 6713. Blech. :-( Too short-waisted for me. Or, maybe that's a design feature, but it's not a flattering one for me. It isn't high enough to be empire-waist, but it's several inches above my natural waist. Plus, it's too short. Just not a hit.
Anyway, I've been working on some other things, knitting and sewing, so I'm going to get back to them. :-) That's all for now.

Oh that's too bad. It looks pretty
on the dressform!!!
Not to be Captain Obvious here, little sis, but do you measure the pattern pieces or pin fit them before you start? I don't make Muslims, but I generally do one of those things. I'm about as short waisted as they come, and I often have to lengthen bodice pieces. Apparently McCalls slower was an Oompa Loompa.
Thanks, Diana. :-)
Hahaha, Kathryn. Anyway, yes Captain Obvious has already made a visit to my head and knocked it around a bit. I honestly very seldom have fitting issues, so I haven't pin fit or anything in a while. I think it's time to start again.
